I've been using Jeff's Rubs for years now, but I've always used his recipes to make my own. Recently I didn't have the time to mix up my own, so I ordered his rubs from the website. Nice blend ,not too heavy on salt. Great mix of what you need.
I have used the Original so far. Following Jeff’s suggestions in his guide I put Olive oil on a 4 pound Beef Tenderloin that had been dry brined overnight. Then sprinkled the Original rub on the tenderloin. 3 hours later the tenderloin was ready for Christmas Dinner. My three older Sister were very pleased. Wan the makings of a great meal. 1. Great Rub, I’ve tried a few other brands and I don’t like them nearly as much as Jeff’s Texas-style Rub. With the low salt content, it also allows me to dry brine the meat ahead of time without over salting. Definitely my go to rub for beef and some pork.
