Note: We are working on our review system as this store is brand new but here's some from a few weeks ago:
"Bought Jeff’s recipe, my family won’t accept any other sauce when smoking. In efforts to minimize my prep time when I smoke I bought this sauce as I wanted to see how close it was to the recipe. SPOT ON! Amazing, delicious, the best sauce on the market." -Cory S.
"I have been using Jeffs recipe for a few years and had made his rub and sauce from the recipes I purchased from his Smoking Meats Forum website. Mine came out pretty good but I am so happy he finally packaged his product. Its awesome and saves me alot of work. Wont be buying anymore sauces or rubs from the grocerie store last minute. Im stocking up on this stuff. Buy all three products available. You will be happy you did." -try68
A Little Background
I crafted the formula for this original barbecue sauce more than 14 years ago around the same time that I was working on the original rub and the beginning of this expedition was due to an extreme lack of what I considered to be "good, solid barbecue sauce" that didn't taste like every other barbecue sauce I'd ever tasted.
I do admit to being picky about sauce.
It took months of careful work, adding a little of this and a little of that.. sometimes removing smidgens of this or that until I felt it was perfect. This, of course, included me chasing my family or anyone who came to visit around the house begging them to taste it yet again and offer their opinion. Most were willing participants ;-)
I have offered the formula for this premium barbecue sauce on the website for years and now, after many, many requests, it is available in a stout jar, ready to use as you see fit.
Order plenty.. you're gonna love it!
How to Use It
In my experience, most people love good barbecue sauce and the best way to serve it is at the table, warmed to a good eating temperature.
Having said that, don't be afraid to liberally brush it on ribs, pulled pork, chicken wings, meatloaf etc. for some extra stickiness or wherever the occasion calls for it.
Mix the sauce one part beer to 3 parts sauce for an excellent beer sauce or mix it 1:1 with horseradish for the best cocktail sauce you've ever had.
Mix it 1:1 with yellow mustard for an extra bit of zing that you'll no doubt love.
My campfire sauce is made by using 1 part Jeff's original barbecue sauce to 1 part mayonnaise. Good on chicken, pork, sandwiches, almost anything where you want something a little "extra".
Don't be afraid to experiment and if you come up with something amazing, I'd love to hear about it!
