How to Use the Original Rub

For best results, apply a sticking agent such as yellow mustard, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, molasses, etc.  to help the rub stick to the meat. A thin coat is all you need.

Sprinkle the rub onto the meat and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and wait for it to get a “wet “ look before moving on.

To speed up the process, you can mist the rub with water, juice, beer, Worcestershire, etc.  after application.

Note: Contrary to its name, there is no need to “rub” or massage the seasoning into the meat.

Another great option is to place the meat in a zip top bag.

Pour some of the rub into the bag. Shake, massage, roll, etc. the bag to coat the meat with the rub.

Leave in the fridge overnight before cooking for best results.

Remove from the bag..

Cook in the smoker, grill or even the traditional oven and ta-da!
